However, some state governments have enacted independent bans on all Delta-8 THC products, so before purchasing Delta-8 products, check in with your state laws first.

Drug tests are designed to detect metabolites, specifically those produced by your body after consuming THC. Although hemp-derived Delta-8 is legal on a federal level, a drug test will not show whether metabolites were used to break down Delta-8 THC from hemp or Delta-8 THC from marijuana. Therefore, it is best to avoid consuming any products containing hemp-derived cannabinoids if there's a drug test in the near future.
