What are Moon Rocks?

Hometown Hero CBD Moon Rocks

Moon Rocks, popularized in 2014 by rapper Krupt, are a thrilling cannabis creation that packs a mean punch to its users and really takes the process of cannabis consumption to the next level. The process in creating moon rocks is by using high-quality flower as a base, but then coating said flower with hash oil and rolling it all up with a whole lot of kief and viola, you have yourself a moon rock! Over at Hometown Hero CBD, we take our very best CBD Cherry Wine hemp buds, dip them in CBD distillate and then roll it all up with some CBD kief that then results in some of the most powerful and potent CBD products to hit the market.

What are Comet Rocks?

CBD Comet Rocks

A few months ago, we sought to provide something new, creative, and a bit different than just your everyday Moon Rocks, and after weeks of research, development, and experimenting our top selling products, Comet Rocks, were born. Like Moon Rocks, we took some of the very best Cherry Wine CBD hemp buds and dipped them into some CBD distillate, but then instead of rolling them in kief, we roll these bad boys in CBD isolate, the isolate being of course where these comet rocks get their unique white coloring.

What is the difference between Moon Rocks and Comet Rocks?

While our moon rocks are dipped in CBD distillate and then rolled in CBD kief, our comet rocks are dipped in CBD distillate and then rolled in CBD isolate instead. CBD isolate is the purest and most potent form of CBD, with the isolate itself having a 0% THC content, meaning you feel the full effects of CBD with none of the intoxicating factors linked to THC. Our comet rocks themselves do still have a low percentage of THC due to the Cherry Wine CBD hemp buds used to create the rocks as a whole. CBD kief is a concentrated form of cannabis that is created by removing the resin glands (you know, those pretty crystals and fuzzy coating that you see on all of your cannabis buds) and is more potent than flower buds.

How do you use CBD Moon Rocks and Comet Rocks?

The best way to enjoy our moon or comet rocks is by mixing it with any flower of your choice to really supercharge your experience. Since our rocks are made with all parts of the CBD hemp plant, you don’t only get a stunning taste added to your experience but it won’t dilute the taste of the flower you choose to enjoy it with! To really enjoy these moon and comet rocks, we recommend you mix it with your flower with a ratio of ⅔ flower and ⅓ rocks, or even ¾ flower for less harshness. Not only will these rocks supercharge your bud but they’ll also save you from overusing your flower, which is of course better on your wallet.

Warning: All Hometown Hero products, including Moon and Comet Rocks, contain less than .3% Delta 9 THC. CBD is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. Check your local laws before purchasing. Because there is a small amount of THC in this product, it may trigger a drug test kit looking for delta 9 THC. You should not use this product if you have concerns regarding passing a drug test. By purchasing this product, you assume full responsibility for all parts pertaining to your purchase.

  • They both sound like they’d be excellent, and I’d be happy to be able to try either one. If I could only pick one, I’d probably pick the moon rocks.
