Of course, you are!

In this blog post, we’ve got three videos that will show you how to make Delta-8 renditions of the Green Apple Martini, Pot of Gold Mimosa, and Irish Eyes. Let’s get started.

Delta-8 Green Apple Martini (Appletini)

This sour yet delightful cocktail originated in LA, but its hue is as emerald as the Irish countryside. With this rendition, you get a burst of mint flavor, with a Green Apple Delta-8 Gummy as a garnish.

  • Jigger
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Martini glass
  • Martini pick

Steps

  1. Place martini glass in freezer for at least 30 minutes
  2. Fill cocktail shaker with ice
  3. Pour schnapps, vodka, lemon juice, and tincture
  4. Stir or shake mixture together
  5. Strain the mixture into a cold martini glass
  6. Garnish with a Green Apple Delta-8 Gummy on a martini pick
Enjoy!

Delta-8 Pot of Gold Mimosa

It doesn't have to be the "top of the mornin'" to enjoy a mimosa. Sweet, fruity, and bubbly, this beverage can offer the perfect refreshing touch to your St. Paddy’s Day. But be warned. This cocktail, especially when paired with Delta-8, has been known to attract leprechauns.

Ingredients

  • Berry Delta-8 Tincture (to preference)
  • 2 ounces orange juice
  • ½ ounce vodka
  • 2 ounces sparkling brut
  • 2 ounces blue curacao

Items needed

  • Champagne flute
  • Jigger

Steps

  1. Pour orange juice in champagne flute
  2. Pour vodka
  3. Drip Delta-8 Berry Tincture and stir
  4. Add sparkling brut
  5. Add blue curacao
Enjoy!

Delta-8 Irish Eyes

Minty, green, creamy, and with a cherry on top (literally), Irish Eyes is the perfect dessert cocktail to enjoy after a hearty meal. And with Delta-8, this drink is the perfect finish to St. Patrick's Day.

Ingredients

  • Delta-8 Mint Tincture (to preference)
  • 1 ounce Irish whiskey
  • ¼ ounce crème de menthe liquer
  • 2 ounces of cream
  • Maraschino cherry
  • 1 cup of ice

Items Needed

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Rock glass

Steps

  • Pour all ingredients over ice into a cocktail shaker
  • Shake ingredients together
  • Strain into a rock glass filled with fresh ice
  • Garnish with maraschino cherry
Enjoy!

What to Know About Delta-8 and Alcohol

Yeah, we hate sounding like buzzkills, chaperones, or even your parents, but there are a few things you need to consider before mixing Delta-8 with alcohol.

Go "Lighter" Than Usual

Alcohol enhances the absorption of THC. In other words, the amount of THC you usually take might feel stronger when mixed into a cocktail.

So start small to gauge how the combination affects you and see where you want to go from there.

Treat Them Like Edibles

Yes, they're drinks. But they're edibles. Well, they will act like edibles since the Delta-8 will have to make its way through your digestive system. So if you don't feel anything right away, wait a bit.

Happy St. Patrick's Day From Hometown Hero

That just about wraps up our Delta-8 cocktail recipes for St. Patrick's Day.

Our Mint and Berry Tinctures provide a great way to add some cannabis-inspired bliss to your spirits without sacrificing any flavor.

But it doesn't have to end with cocktails either.

For example, with its herbal yet oily flavor, our Natural Delta-8 Tincture is an excellent option for topping off some mashed potatoes, Irish soda bread, or even a particular malty yet hoppy stout.

Simply put, with tinctures, just about anything you want can be cannabis-infused.

We hope you enjoy these recipes and from all of us at Hometown Hero, have a happy St. Patrick's Day!
