We launched our Live Rosin line in November 2021 with our Sativa Live Rosin Gummies and Indica Live Rosin Gummies. With all the praise and feedback we received for these edibles (about 155 five-star reviews as of this writing), we figured that naturally, Hybrid Live Rosin Gummies would be our next release. What is Live Rosin?
Live rosin is the cream of the crop (somewhat literally) for cannabis concentrates. For those unfamiliar, a concentrate is basically a plant extract packed with cannabinoids and terpenes.
Cannabinoids are compounds found in cannabis. Some of the most well-known hemp-derived cannabinoids include CBD, Delta-8 THC, and Delta-9 THC.
"Terpene" is simply a fancy word that describes various aromatic plant compounds. Although present in cannabis, terpenes can be found in many plant species, from tea, citrus fruits, thyme, and much more.
Live rosin is a golden sap that can only be made from bubble hash squeezed with the right amount of pressure and heat. However, this isn't any normal type of bubble hash, but it's a bubble hash made only with fresh plant material of the finest quality.
And that pretty much sums up the "what" for live rosin.

What Makes Live Rosin "Special?"
So what exactly is live rosin, and why is it highly sought after?
Well, there are two types of live rosin. There's the marijuana version (which is highly concentrated with Delta-9 THC), and there's the hemp version.
We're just going to stick to the hemp-derived version of live rosin for this segment.
Live rosin offers two distinct features for hemp enthusiasts: natural flavor and a live terpene profile.
The flavor of live rosin can be described as a mellow pine (a blend of mint and pepper) with citrus notes. Now, the word that should be emphasized here is "mellow." You'll have to taste it yourself to truly understand, but it's not like eating a CBD flower raw…which we don't recommend.
Then, there's the benefit of the live terpene profile. Terpenes don't just offer aroma and taste. They can have interesting interactions when paired with cannabinoids such as hemp-derived Delta-9 THC. According to an article in the Chicago Tribune, one of the things that terpenes can do is speed up the rate at which cannabinoids enter our bloodstream.
Before being sold for consumption, hemp flower is cured, which is excellent for smoking! But a drawback is that it loses some of its terpenes in this process.
Because the bubble hash used to make live rosin only uses fresh, uncured plant material, the plant's live terpene profile is preserved. This offers a greater density of terpenes and, potentially, their complementary effects.
In short, the live rosin extraction process preserves the live terpene profile of a plant and brings an exquisite, unique flavor.
What is a Hybrid?
Cannabis comes in several main varieties, but the two most well-known are indicas and sativas. Some may say they're different species, however, this topic remains highly debated.
What is definite is that these two variations have distinct terpene profiles.
Many enthusiasts say that the terpene profiles of sativa plants offer a more "uplifting" feeling when paired with hemp-derived Delta-9. On the other hand, indicas have been reported to be more on the "relaxing" end of the spectrum.
Remember that cannabinoids and their terpene pairings can affect everyone a bit differently.
A "hybrid" is just what the name implies. It's a crossbreed between an indica and a sativa. Some may find that hybrids offer a good balance between indica and sativa, delivering the "best of both worlds."
However, it all comes down to personal preference and the effects you experience.
Hybrid Live Rosin Cannabinoid Content
Our Hybrid Live Rosin Gummies cannabinoid content is the same range as our Indica and Sativa Live Rosin Gummies. It's 25mg of Delta-9 THC and 5mg of live rosin, all from hemp. And just like its predecessors, the flavor and color are all-natural.
What's even better about Hybrid Live Rosin Gummies (as well our other hemp-derived Delta-9 products) is that it's legal in all 50 states!
In short, the 2018 Farm Bill defined hemp as cannabis with a 0.3% or lower concentration of Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. This classification carries over to consumable hemp products.
What should be noted is that the Delta-9 THC limit is a concentration, not a particular amount.
The total Delta-9 content in our Hybrid Live Rosin Gummies and similar products does not exceed 0.3% of the edible's dry weight.
So pretty much, as of this writing, Hybrid Live Rosin Gummies are legal federally legal and legal in every state!
