THC Taffy

THC taffies (sometimes called THC saltwater taffies) are just taffies infused with tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive constituent of cannabis. 

To make these candy edibles, a manufacturer cooks sugars at a high temperature and adds oils/fats to the mix. Afterward, the mixture is pulled and folded by hand to give it a soft, chewy texture. Then, the manufacturer adds THC distillate to the candy at some point (which is often proprietary knowledge). Believe it or not, saltwater taffy does not contain saltwater or sea-derived ingredients. 

THC taffies contain sugar, some sort of fat (such as butter or oil), flavoring, and THC distillate. THC distillate is a thick, viscous liquid with an amber hue that is nearly 100% pure tetrahydrocannabinol. It is a versatile form of cannabis because, besides edibles, one can also vaporize it. Distillate offers the traditional edible experience of a more prolonged onset but with more potent effects and a longer duration.

The effects of these adult candies are in line with traditional edibles. For an edible to be psychoactive, it must have THC in it, not its precursor, THCA. Unlike inhalation, when you eat THC, your body converts it into a new compound called 11-Hydroxy-THC, which offers the same effects as THC, such as relaxation, euphoria, laughter, and others, but to a greater degree and greater duration. For our THC taffies and caramels, we go the extra mile by infusing live rosin concentrate, which is rich in terpenes that can help sway the effects to be more sativa-like (uplifting) or more indica-like (relaxing). 

Yes, hemp-derived THC taffies are legal on a federal level. Federal legality allows customers 21 and older to order these adult candies online to be delivered discreetly to their home addresses. Aside from a federal level, the legality of hemp-derived cannabinoids will vary from state to state. For this reason, we will only ship products to states where hemp-derived cannabinoids are legal because the last thing we would ever want to do is put our customers in legal jeopardy.
